Date
July 24, 2023

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Federation of American Scientists to establish a new Food Supply Chain Impact Fellowship for experienced food systems and supply chain professionals to gain experience in federal government and to support the implementation, coordination, and oversight of USDA’s Food Systems Transformation efforts. The Federation of American Scientists is accepting applications for the fellowship until August 7, 2023.

Impact fellows will provide coordination, technical assistance, and support to the USDA Regional Food Business Centers, the Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure (RFSI) program, and other food systems transformation efforts. The fellows will help stakeholders navigate USDA resources.

Applications must be submitted by August 7, 2023. AMS encourages applications from individuals with experience serving underinvested communities. Information about the fellowship and how to apply is available on the Federation of American Scientists Food Supply Chain Impact Fellowship webpage.
