USDA Announces Certifications and Awards to Provide Official Services Under the U.S. Grain Standards Act

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announces that the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries and the Washington State Department of Agriculture are certified to provide official inspection services at export port locations under delegated authority of the United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA).

AMS also announces the following agencies are designated to provide official services at non-export port locations in specified geographic areas:

Montgomery, Alabama:  Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries
Essex, Illinois:  Kankakee Grain Inspection Inc. 
Decatur, Indiana:  North Dakota Grain Inspection Services Inc.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa:  Mid-Iowa Grain Inspection Inc. 
Topeka, Kansas:  Kansas Grain Inspection Service Inc.
Jefferson City, Missouri:  Missouri Department of Agriculture 
Helena, Montana:  Montana Department of Agriculture
Hastings, Nebraska:  Hastings Grain Inspection Inc. 
Lincoln, Nebraska:  Lincoln Inspection Service Inc.  
Jamestown, North Dakota:  Jamestown Grain Inspection Inc.
Minot, North Dakota:  Minot Grain Inspection Inc. 
Cincinnati, Ohio:  Tri-State Grain Inspection Service Inc. 
Aberdeen, South Dakota:  Aberdeen Grain Inspection Inc. 
Memphis, Tennessee:  Midsouth Grain Inspection Service
Texas Central:  Plainview Grain Inspection and Weighing Service Inc.  
Olympia, Washington:  Washington State Department of Agriculture
