The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is announcing updates to the descriptions of the geographic areas in which official service providers (OSPs) perform official inspection and weighing services under a United States Grain Standards Act designation or delegation, and for the purposes of cooperative service agreements under the Agricultural Marketing Act. The updates are necessary due to changes in natural and manmade landmarks, railroad lines, roads and signs that were used in historical boundary descriptions.
On January 13, 2025, proposed updates to the geographic areas were published in the Federal Register (90 FR 2664). No comments were received during the designated comment period. This announcement finalizes the updates to the descriptions of the geographic areas, which were published in the Federal Register on July 3, 2025.
