The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is seeking (LFPA) funding to be utilized for our upcoming project, Harvest-to-Table. The Harvest-to-Table project will consist of providing locally grown farm fresh fruits and vegetables, and other allowable foods to vulnerable and at-risk individuals in El Dorado County. The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians will partner with the Food Bank of El Dorado County, utilizing their emergency food network to facilitate the distribution of the farm fresh produce to local communities of vulnerable and at-risk individuals on a regular basis for the length of the two-year program.
