Elders Outreach Program Enhancement of Locally & Culturally Relevant Foods (EOP ELCRF) supports and provides traditional food, minimally processed, and locally produced bounty to underserved Tribal Members, Elders, Veterans, and community members living in the boundaries of Ninilchik Village Tribal boundaries. Ensuring local producers, farmers, harvesters, and processors are connected to the EOP ELCRF and continue to bridge connections for further development of providing local bounty to those designated is a goal and effort for the long-term ties the EOP ensures to develop. The EOP ELCRF intends to maintain relationships with local producers, purchase and transport their goods, and deliver to underserved Tribal members, Elders, Veterans, and at-risk community members over the duration of the LFPA grant and, furthermore, continue those relationships to ensure those agreements and future purchases will continue past the grant period.
