We are pleased to announce that the GAP auditor training classes for 2024 are open for pre-registration. For new auditors, Audit Services Branch is offering 3 classes for the Harmonized GAP standard and 3 classes for the USDA GAP standard. For current auditors of the USDA Harmonized GAP standards, we are offering 3 Harmonized GAP refresher update trainings. Attending one of these update trainings is mandatory for existing Harmonized GAP auditors. All of these trainings will be through the Blackboard online training platform with live instruction.
Full week classes will cost $900 for all industry participants.
Harmonized GAP (Includes Harmonized GAP Plus+)
Each of these classes consists of 5 days of live instruction and independent assignments. Classes will begin Monday and end Friday and will start at 10:00am EST and end at 5:30pm EST. This time is an estimate and some days may be longer or shorter based on class discussion and participation. Students must have access to a stable internet connection, Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers, and their own email address to be used for enrollment.

USDA GAP Transition
Current auditors or students who wish to be trained in USDA GAP will need to complete (or have completed) a Harmonized Plus+ class, and then attend an online USDA GAP transition training 2-day, online class. Classes will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, from Noon EST to 4:30 PM. This time is an estimate and some days may be longer or shorter based on class discussion and participation. Students must have access to a stable internet connection, Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers, and their own email address to be used for enrollment.

USDA Harmonized GAP Refresher Update (Mandatory)
Current auditors of the Harmonized GAP standard are required to attend one of the offered mandatory refresher update trainings. The training will be no longer than one day and will cover new changes made to the program. The course will include live instruction through blackboard.
