Federal Register Publishes the Transparency in Poultry Grower Contracting and Tournaments Final Rule, Effective February 2024
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today published the final rule for Transparency in Poultry Grower Contracting and Tournaments in the Federal Register. The rule, which requires Live Poultry Dealers – typically large processing companies – to give key information about terms of their agreements to the poultry growers with whom they contract to raise birds, is effective Feb. 12, 2024.

USDA Announces Appointments to the National Mango Board
The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of seven members to serve on the National Mango Board. The member appointed for the first handler position will begin their term immediately and serve until Dec. 31, 2024. All other appointees will serve three-year terms, effective Jan. 1, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2026.
