The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking nominees for the United Soybean Board (Board) to succeed 19 members and five alternate members with terms that expire in December 2023. The deadline for nominations is April 23, 2023.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is extending to May 1, 2023, the deadline for receiving comments on its procedures related to the use of instrument technology in the official meat grading program. AMS announced on January 4, 2023, that it was seeking comments on several key enhancements to ensure USDA grading is delivered with the highest levels of consistency and accuracy. The original deadline for comments was February 17, 2023.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of 32 members to the National Potato Promotion Board. Appointed are 30 producer members and two importers to fill three-year terms expiring February 28, 2026.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of 28 members and alternate members to serve on the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council. Members and alternates will serve a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2025.  Four of the appointments are the exporter members and alternates whose terms will expire Dec. 31, 2024, to remain in the council’s nomination rotation.
